Simon Walker is a senior researcher at the Faculty of Sport and Health Sciences in the University of Jyväskylä, specializing in researching strength training. He is also an Associate Editor for the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research and Springer+ journal. When he’s not researching sports or writing about sports research, he competes in the Finnish 3rd division in football, is an avid gym-goer and likes to go for runs with his wife while his two children cycle alongside (or, nowadays, in front setting the pace).
